What are YOU doing for Halloween?! If you are doing any thing, I want to hear it! What you're doing, who you're doing it with, what you're dressed as, every thing!
I will not be doing any thing unfortunately. I am out in the country and I haven't gone trick-or-treating since I was in Cubbies. But that's ok. I will probably turn all the lights off in the house and write in my journal with a flash light... that sound s like fun. :) Oh and getting a variety pack of candy and candy corn and put it in a bowel so I can look at it. Then I will eat it. :)

my church is having a harvest festival - Candyland themed! A friend and I are going to make Grandma Nut's house out of moving boxes we're not using. And there WILL be candy. lots and lots of candy!!!
well, because halloween is evil and it would be wrong to have fun on an evil day, we'll probably all pretend not to go to the Hammermasters, and while we're there, we'll play the piano and dance in the front room until the doorbell rings, at which time we'll all hit the floor, the piano will stop adruptly, and the lights will go out.
that's supposed to tell people we're not home, you see. we thought about putting a "GO AWAY" sign on the front door, but that would be rude.

Oh, yah, and since halloween is evil, we'll also dress up in costumes, and be silly.

That sounds like lovely fun! I wish I could sneak to the Hammermasters... that wouls be sooooo fun. But since it's an evil day I will just pretend I didn't get candy corn and I wasn't going to send you any.

this year we're doing a thing up at our new church kind of as an outreach to the neighborhood where you bring your car decorated and dress up and kids can walk through and get candy off the backs of all the cars. my whole family's going as Star Wars. oh joy. :P

Yeah...so apparently I'm Gramma Nut. but my house looks great. I could probably really use some prayers tonight I think!
I think instead of Gramma Nut's House on the sign it should say Gramma's Nut House and we'll just pretend it's a typo. I'm sure it will be more like that than anything else.....
