God has really been laying it on my heart lately to post again about supporting a missionary through Gospel for Asia. I know I posted about this a while ago, and it kind of fell apart before it got off the ground, but I really feel God's call to this, and if it's in His will I know it will work.

Some of you didn't have blogs yet when I made my first post about this, so I'll explain it a little bit. Gospel for Asia is an organization that sends out missionaries who are native to the country they will be ministering in, all in Asia in the 10/40 window. This is more cost effective for one thing than sending foreign missionaries (and so good stewardship), and it is also much easier for the missionaries to minister in the culture, as they are already at home in or familiar with the clothing, food, language, and other cultural elements of the area they are missionaries in. 100% of the funding goes to the field, as GFA operates completely on support of people around the world, and doesn't take out any money for their own means.

It only costs $30 per month to help support a native missionary! So if several of us team up together, I know we can do it, each of us giving, say, $4 or $5 a month and pooling it together. I really know this is something I need to be doing, but I don't have the money by myself to do it, so please, I'm asking all of you to pray about it and talk it over with your parents.
