Now that is clever.
Isn't that true.
Eowyn is right, it took me a minute to think about it and realize what it meant.
it's so true----people don't like the conservative religious right and so they make it out like god hates them, and different people don't like homosexuals, so they make it out like god hates them.
some people don't like people that complain, some people don't like people that listen to certain kinds of music, some people are always talking about how god hates islam.
i think god loves everyone in a way we cannot even imagine, that is way beyond our fallen minds.
i (we) should be honest and acknowledge that i am (we are) changing god into a safe comfortable place that i can deal with Him.
it's setting myself up as creator, it's setting myself up as an idol, when it all boils down.
You took the words from my mouth.
God is a terrible God, He is a scary God, He is a loving God, He is a merciful God. Most people have the wrong idea about Him. He is not something that we can conform in our minds to something that is pleasing to us. Instead we (I) need to ask Him to conform us (me) into something that is pleasing to Him.
Wow. Very good points, people. 'Tis true.
