if you don't want to hear me talk about pornography, don't read this post. i'm sorry, but it's on my mind, and it's not something you just talk about with just anyone. and no one ever talks about it. and this is a thoughts blog. if you don't want to hear about it, just ignore it, and if it really really bugs you, comment and i'll delete it.
it's a ten billion dollar a year industry. bigger than any sports or gambling or anything combined. unfathomable amounts of americans are addicted. it's so sickening. i've gotten made fun of for condemning it and saying no, i never have and never will.
why does it seem like no one will speak out against it? i know, protect little ears, but i think this is a huge problem in american society. colossal problem. it is ruining so many relationships and warping minds of millions of guys around the country. not to mention the poor people making the money off it. our culture views it as a kind of cool thing that just gets swept under the mat. a funny thing to joke about.
i can't bring myself to say it should be banned. like many other things, there's no doubt in my mind what is right, but outlawing it is only going to push it underground and away from regulation altogether. i think the important thing is to change the mindset somehow. it seems like such an uphill struggle.
thank you for reading, i won't be offended if this post never gets any comments, but any thoughts are appreciated.

Never mind. I had something somewhat inteligent to say, but I decided it was kind of off topic.
This is an all-around-the-world issue, but you're right to address America, because it's the only place we can do something about it right now.
Not sure what...there has to be something though...
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Americans try to much to overlook things they'd rather not discuss. That's why nothing gets done and the problems just get worse.
Thank you, Vera... I knew someone else had to be brave enough to comment.
Not brave...I really know very little about the issue.
What were you going to say Em? I want to know.
Well, just that this issue has really misconstrued the definition of beauty in America.
yes thank you verya, great comment.
that is very true, emily. not too off-topic. i was just operating from the assumption that pornography is corrupting and evil, because i was sure everyone would agree.
